Down The Rabbit Hole - Pointless Quest - Blame the Mushrooms

One problem I've noticed is that the "Down the Rabbit Hole" quest items are broken. The problem is that it asks you get collection items and the "Mad Tea Party" collection which will give a Spanish Egg. The problem is that you sometimes get the items out of order the if that happens, it isn't counted towards that quest. This results in an ABSURD situation where I actually have TWO complete collections that gave me two Spanish Eggs. But I still those quests and what was collected previouslyt is NOT counted. This gets more absurd when you consider that I actually completed the ultimate goal of getting 5 "Through the Keyhole Collections" and I now have 83 of those and I lost count of how many English Eggs I have in my Warehouse although I know it's more than six.

I completed the main contest goal days.

At this point, the only gains I can see for repeated Swift flights to wonderland (and some might as important) are:
1) Complete 500 flights to get three Expertise Stars for that destination. But I wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze.
2) Keep my point count up until the end.
3) Maybe get more Spanish Eggs buildings.

I am trying to do my best to just complete the task and use REPEATED speed ups just to do it and get that pesty bunny challenge out of the way. I can argue that I comnpleted the tasks a LONG time ago.

I reached the End of the Monarchy challenge where you have the following tasks:
Build a Russian Egg
Build an Indian Egg
Build a Spanish Egg

The only part of the task I was able to complete is "Build a Spanish Egg" My inability to complete part of the task/quest is that I already have 6 Russian Eggs and 6 Indian Eggs that I have built. I suspect that I would get further tasks such as Build an English Egg. I already have 2 that I have built and I have numerous ones in the warehouse. I can't read the numbers but I know it exceeds six. The problem is that the game is NOT treating those tasks as COMPLETED when it should have. At the moment, doing what the "Quest/task" says is probably going to do than good.

That’s pretty standard across all quests. Any collections you had completed before the quest don’t count towards it.
Common at early levels with items from guest planes - you could have completed the collection before completing the 5 quests to drop 5 individual items from guest planes and then complete the collection.
If you want to avoid it, don’t complete collections until you need them.
Makes sense really, think of space events - the challenge is to complete x launches in a week, not to see if you have completed that many since you’ve been playing.

Alright, what happened was that I had followed the directions from the "Down the Rabbit Hole" icon dialog box as well as looking through the collections and how to get those. I started the event on Friday or was it Thursday by making a series of flights to Chicago, New York, Washington DC, and Las Angeles in addition to Wonderland. That's where I got all the egg buildings I did plus, the Indian, Spanish, and Russian Eggs get the English Egg over time. The Spanish Egg was more of an after thought. With this EVENT, I deliberately took a quick and aggressive posture so I could get things done before the weekly Mission where I would down to focus on that and finish all of those tasks. In addition to the event points, I had also received a specialist star for both Chicago and New York.

The issue I have is that there was an associated Mission that I had described in the Missions window. I had wanted to complete that and part of those missions for the event was what I had already been doing. The second and Third Spanish Egg was simply from this Wonderland mission series as opposed to the stuff from the event icon. But what was accomplished from the Bunny Mission was that I had nearly completed the third Wonderland expertise star and after getting that "Bunny MIssion" where you complete that Hatter collection to get the Spanish Egg. I just chose to actually complete that third star for OTHER rewords.

Now mission behavior you described runs counter other behavior I see with stuff from the Side Mission. I had once completed the House Doubt collection Mission Series long before I actually saw that Mission and I already had that building sitting as well as numerous other "House of Doubt" buildings in my Warehouse. When I got that side Mission, it turned out to be, "just a few flights" and when I got to collect such and such item, there was an orange area where you would click Okay and go on to the next task.

Do you see what I'm trying to communicate?

You are looking for predictability...won't this game be boring if it was that predictable?

On another note, don't jump the gun wait for the game to tell you or show you the next step and always read instructions carefully.

I ran into the same problem (Build Spanish/Russian/Indian eggs). I already had 6 Russians up and running and couldn't build any more.

Because I had a couple of extra Russians already in my collection, I took the gamble and paid the 4800 gold to "store" one of the Russians, then just rebuilt it. It instantly came back (since it was stored, not needing to be built again).

And I got credit for the side mission.

So I had to pay 4800 gold to get a few gold back in return, but it kept me on the path to completing the missions.

Something to hang onto for next time.

I’ll end this: The event has ended and therefore, the problem has been concluded. Apologies if I’m being rude.
