Do alliance maps require flight items?

Do the flights from purple (alliance) maps require flight items such as Landing Lamps, Flight Catering, etc?
I asked a couple of friends if they did and they said yes, but today I did a map run to Vaduz and it didn’t lol.

Raven and higher require items. Info was recently added here too:
