Did it glitch on Power?

Yesterday, I decided to trade in 10 $100 power stations for a Coal power station to create space. I screwed up the money, as I sold the 10 before realising I was 1500c short!! Weird thing was, although my power rating was showing 322/294, all my buildings were still functioning. Nothing greyed out. I got my cash back in about an hour and built the new Power Building.

Seems strange, as what is stopping me selling all my power units, if the game doesnt take buildings out of action until you get enough again?

It's a nice glitch. You just won't be able to upgrade or build anything new until you catch up on power.
