Add your avatar that matches you forum user name. Then after a few weeks you can shorten it to GR-* and GR3-* then maybe a few weeks later go down to G-*

I'd go for GRadar. Shorter abbreviations become too cryptic.
Focus on abbreviating your item needs, because ones like "AI" or "EP" are wider used than your name, thus easier to remember and understand
