iOS Black screen then exits on loading

After playing for over a year, I went to play yesterday, and when loading, there is a black screen for a few seconds, then it exits back to home screen. Whats the fix? I certainly don't want to start again!!

AC version: 4.6
iOS version: 9.3.3

have u updated ioS, it could be one of the security updates, I know for windows that their is a conflict between an security update and AC

I' m having the same problem. After the last (automatic) update to 4.6. No iOS update.
