Another weathervane change :(

They change the bonus weathervane again!!
Iam going crazy. First they add the bug with active planes and no working weathervanes. Now they change the whole bonus. As example my S3 Condors need now 4h 40min with weathervane, before last update 3h with weathervane. Every update the bonus getting more useless. Adding a new bug and didnt fix the old bugs, thats GI!!!

If this is another policy change that is dramatic and unacceptable, I want a refund for a gold subscription. I'll just finish playing.
When now I'm using the VW bonus, my S3 planes are flying 4 times longer than before the last update.
For example with bonus VW Condor S3 before update was flying 1h12m and now 4h.

Somehow I think we're getting into the territory of the GD/planetarium bug - it was a bug and was not supposed to be that way.

My math is not good by any means, but if you take a 12 hour flight and make it 40% faster (S3), that should give you 7+ hours. Take that flight and make it 35% faster (VW), and you're in the area of 4+ hours. I have a feeling that GI will tell you it was NEVER supposed to be 1h12m, and that now it's showing the correct time.

with gold sub: 468min - (15% of 720min= 108min ) = 6h (360min)

S3 Condor 40% of 12h = 7h12m (432min);
with VW: 432min - (35% of 720min= 252min) = 3h (180min);
with golden sub: 180min - (15% of 720min= 108min) = 1h12 (72min);


How work now

I'm patience and play without worries but I agree that some times is very good to play hard to reach a goal. This game can't be played hard anymore. Put your planes to flight and forget them a looong time.

the changes Gi Is puting in the game after every update are all fixess of good bugs and all afect oure gameplay in the negative sence
its almost like politics they always promise changes that will be better for all
but the litle man (player) always ends up paying more taxes for less ore the same BS

Seems like before, they always took the percentage of the original flight time (12 hours) instead of using the latest and greatest reduced time to apply the additional reductions. It indeed is a fix to a good bug, but I still love the vintage weathervane.
Now I wonder if the weathervane affects flights already in the air, or only flights started after activation? That could've been considered a bug too. I hope it isnt
UPDATE: VW still affects planes already in flight, but now it does the reduction on the remaining flight time vs. the original flight time, so unless your flight has only a few mins remaining, you will no longer get instantaneous returns. The updated VW may have less reductions now, but I'm ok with it.

However, if they're going to do this for the vintage weathervane, then they should do the same thing for overlapping coin and passenger bonuses. If the decrease is based on the current flight time, the the overlapping bonus should cause a compound interest on the latest coin/pax output.
