Airport City Money Purchase

I running the App thru the Windows Store on Win 8.1 and today I added $5 dollar to my Windows Store account to buy the $4.49 Wallet of Airport Cash in App purchase. Every time I try to make a purchase it tells me the "purchase can not be completed, Try Again Later." Is there a problem with the purchasing thru the windows store going on, or is this a typical problem with Airport City via the Windows Store? I know my Windows Store account is in good standing and I have used it to buy other money in apps

I dont know about Windows, but ive never had any issues when purchasing money through Android.

I have never had a problem. However double check to see if you have an internet connection.

• When I made a purchase my card was charged an extra $1. Why?
  Google Wallet charges you $1 to confirm your card is valid. After a while Google Wallet returns $1. To find out more about it please contact Google Wallet Support: http://support.google.com/wallet/?hl=en

I dropped them a message, but I did some research and it seems to be a windows store issue with purchases made with gift cards. Seems to me Win Store wants me to put a credit card on file to even use my gift card credit.

Win Store does this too. I been doing research it seems that in app purchases through the Win Store has issues when you using gift card credit. What I did was obtained a $5 Microsoft card through Bing Rewards and added to the Win Store. It shows I have $5 in credit, but when I try to make a in app purchase in Airport City, I get the message "purchase can not be completed, try again later." I have done some research and found that it my be because I don't have a credit card option saved on the Win Store. and by default the Win Store looks for the credit card before it applies and gift card balance. I know ITunes is this way too.
