Airport City - Air your pet peeves here

[Bali Hi]

Airport city is a fun and addictive game, but occasionally there are game features that are rather annoying. Since Game Insight is looking for feedback, perhaps you can list them here.

I have two pet peeves:

1) Location of PEBs and other fuel
Before I do a Space Launch or join a Quantum Leap, I like to see how many PEBs, Main Stabilizers and Large Fuel tanks in stock. I have no idea why they are located right at the end of the Warehouse / Other boxes. It's better if they are the first few items in the Warehouse.

2) Location of Launch Ready Boxes
So I don't have enough PEBs in stock. When I want to open a Launch Ready box, I have to open the Warehouse / Item sets, and scroll almost all the way to the end of the list.

Open box, aarggh Solid Fuel. #@$!. Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll.... open box, Aaargh! Repeat.

It would really save me time if Launch Ready Boxes is the first item .

Yeah, Warehouse /Fuel tab would make a better place for your Rocket fuel. It actually makes more sense that the Warehouse / Other tab!

I just posted this under 2015 wish list...

To enter the Warehouse you click on the Box icon at the bottom of the page. Now you’re in the Warehouse. To find the items that you have in stock you then click on the far right Box icon to enter the “Other” category.

This list is nearly impossible to scroll, with a smile on your face, if you have a lot of items. I mean it takes minutes to get to the end and the scroll capability is not the best on my android tablet.

I would like the item list changed in one of two ways.

Eliminate the “Other” category and break down items at main level into smaller categories like “Repair”, “Flight”, “Building”, “Event”, etc. and then showing the appropriate items under that level.

OR

Add another level in the “Other” category so that under “Other” we would see “Repair”, “Flight”, “Building”, “Event”, etc. and then the appropriate items under those levels.

This would save a lot of time and eye rolling while playing the game.

There seems to be a lot of stuff in the warehouse that you may never need, it would be nice to be able to archive selected items so the remaining list is quicker to scroll through.

I don't like the facts that maps in your warehouse are now listed in alphabetical order. Previously they were batched in sets which was much easier to engage with for flying to event / space destinations.

1. I love this forum, but I wish it was easier on days/days/days/days I can't live here to gift what people need. There needs to be a way of sending neighbors what they needs more quickly.

2. I am sick and tired and angry and annoyed and pissed off about the number of times I have been accused of "time travel". Seriously, if I were time traveling, I'd have more coins, more stars, etc. It seems that the immediate GI "IT" response is "you cheated and time traveled". ENOUGH. These are mobile devices - they do change time zones. I'm tired of worrying before I'm banned that I send in tickets early...

I wished young games would get similar opportunities when growing as old games have....
I could not buy a bank casino or mint the first time as I just started the game..... since then I have been waiting and the game becomes less fun as you can't grow without one...
Also possibilities with launching is less because you can't earn greenies......

i want to bring up the theme of the cascading drops... Im having to spend more time collecting coins as the coins falling all over the place. this is kinda annoying especially when im at work trying to have a sneaky coin collection... extra time collecting cash... more time for the boss to catch me... Please if we could roll back the cascading drops please....

Please consider this request.

@dr_fly I'm sure you know it, but you don't need to tap TWICE to get your money. If the coins hit the ground (you've collected them from a building) they're yours already, if you don't do a thing after that they'll be added to your account in a few moments anyway.

For a maximize city, like buildings to buildings are very close and high buildings are next to 1x1 buildings, this is very difficult. We want to tap fast, and divide coins and passengers will make our move slower.

It is believed (not sure proven) that if you kill AC before your device changes time, that will solve the problem. So, I'd recommend doing that or just powering down the device before you change. (This includes daylight savings days as well).

That said...I play one other GI game (that isn't Road 404, sorry Ivan) and the support is just as bad. I reported an issue and they closed it to the upcoming new update - without acknowledging that I had an issue or that it was going to be fixed. It was closed so I could evaluate and re-report if there was still a problem.

It is suggestted by Irina:
1. Set your time and time zone to manual ( not automatic)
2. When you want to go to different time zone, make sure your AC is closed.
3. When you arrive in a different time zone, just go to setting and change the tome zone manually.
4. Turn on your AC.

I did it 2 times now and works perfect.

I wish we can re-add neighbor that had deleted.
When I add neighbor sometime the invitation is half received.
My friend said that He receive my invitation and my game is on his neighbor list.
But his game is still on my waiting list.
Then He delete my game from the list and resend an invite from his side.
If this process is still failed. We will no longer can add each other to be a neighbor.
So why this game not give players a chance for adding a neighbor that had been deleted before.
We have a good reason why we delete neighbor as I said before.
