Android AC keeps asking for Google Play account

My son just installed the game on his mobile phone.
When starting up, the game asks for a Google Play account, but when we select his account, it seems not to save the info and keeps returning to the 'select account page.
In the parental settings, I gave full permission for the game, his Google Play account is set up...

I don't know but tried to read about limitations for kids, I suppose they may differ in different countries. I suppose he's got an email adress in his acount? That seems to be necessary for many apps, thar is the only thing I found.
