iOS 20% off Tesla Plant

Is this a good deal? I am running short on electricity. I seem to remember this plant being offered at some point for more than 20% discount...

It depends on what you are willing to spend. Regular price is 30 greens.
It produces more electricity then the coal plants.

Most people have some depends on your airport side space as it takes less space for more power.

When land expansion get to more then 30 greens at special price, those Tesla power stations is a much better deal as you can free a land plot for each Tesla (1 tesla = 5 coal). When you start out, it’s better to keep greens for land expansions.

Buy it is a good deal as everyone say it take less space

I've not seen it with a heavier discount. I have two of them, both bought with that discount. As land expansion prices start to go up, it becomes more economical to buy Teslas. In my view, the crossover point when land costs 30/square at the discounted rate.

For 30 greens for a land square, plus four teslas at 30 greens each, you get 1200 power units at a cost of 150 greens. That would be the same power as 20 coal stations, which take five squares, and at 30 each it is the same 150 (plus 20x8000 coins, which is nearly irrelevant). So if your land cost is 30 or higher, buy Teslas, preferably at the discounted rate. If not, stick to coal and buy more land with your greens.
