1 item never getting

Why is there always 1 item of the 5 you never get to collect. From the other items you recieve 7 of 9 times, but always 1 item that never appears.
I made 90 flights and still can't fullfill the cristal ball item.

Have you tried using dice, golden dice and other drop rate bonuses?

The drops are very seldom but also random. That means that the likelihood that you will get 5 drops and fill a collection is quite low. It always seems like one item isn't dropping until you have collected 100s of the collection.

Here is my lost and found collections. Early on, I would have said the butterfly net isn't dropping. But it's clear over the long haul that things even out.
