I did a similar thing on my iPad. I edited the wifi settings for my home network to have manual DNS. I added 8.8.8.8 . Since that everything is working fine, for several hours now.

So am I the only one still having server connection problems, or is everyone just tired of bitching about it?

I also did the iOS update. It worked just as you say for several minutes. Then I had to go out for a couple hours. When I came home it was back to being borked again. So the iOS update did not fix things once and for all.

For me it’s going in and out. Sometimes everything works flawlessly...for a minute or two.

On 2 Android devices now I was unable to send gifts. In both cases force quitting the game and relaunching let me send gifts, at least temporarily.

I am seeing alliance tasks. I can visit neighbors, even though it's slow. BUT no red envelopes are dropping! This is on iOS (iPad) wirelessly connected to my home router.

I can see how if your only launch party experience has been with QL Master @Teboho you would conclude that they go on forever and ever and ever :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: (Teboho chained multiple QLs back to back. I think it was 3 or 4??? :wideyed: )
