thanks mate but my other half has decided not to bother because of the hump near the space bar and mouse pad which i can't use as it as a mind of it's own and the space bar is temperamental and only works at one end it's fun and games but at least for now it still works, so I'm getting a new one...

I've been looking for one I can't find one for mine the ones I have found for an HP are either too small or too big and i've looked on line and the hump that i've got is to do with the lithium battery that i can't get too so don't know if i want to spend money on a new battery or just buy a new one
