I might be wrong but the plane pops up for landing every 30 secs (2 guest planes per minute), so that gives you more than 20,000 (24x60x7x2) theoretical max. Of course, there are other ways to earn points like event rewards, landing your own planes and helis but you will need a lot of resources...

I only aimed for the 20 gold coins in the competition and got it, the rest of the rewards are just there for the picking without those insane purchases. Adding about one or two land expansions a month is not bad. It is really a long patient game and not keen on pulling out my wallet purchase...

Not bothering to play this event. Pass availability is far and between after you consume 25 passes. I think there is a free one pass every hour on ads. This means you have to collect for at least 5 hours to play one mini game.

I was accidentally banned once and it took GI to re-instate my account for almost two months. Such a crappy customer service.

Spending a greenie or infrequent airship dock purchases costing 2000 coins does not justify the rewards that you obtain from excavations as map chest drop rates are not good.

The free ads are now once a day (does not even reset on some of them) and I don't want to spend for the subscriptions. It is stalling my next strategy in obtaining map chests through free excavations maps. I wonder why they changed the frequency. Or is this another of those unpredicted outcomes...

Ok. I think the compensation goes to players who bypassed the 6 building limit and the update returned all those excess buildings in their warehouses.
