My full win10 disk cost me $ 110. My IT people deleted any remaining win8.1 on my newer laptop and installed a complete win10 on it and it worked(except for the backup versions of two games(one of which was AC)). As you say you use yours for work, perhaps you can deduct the cost of a win10 disk...
