One thing I did learn is that you want to be careful not to level up too fast or you won't have money when you get the fire and police departments and people get mad and abandon the city real fast when you don't protect them properly.

I still don't understand how the off line thing works. I lost over 10 flights on my alliance missions simply because I didn't have service when I clicked on returning flight. How can they play off line and still get credit for alliance flights? The thing I like about the new alliance missions...

That's kind of what I figured. Right now I'm at level 10 and I think the small island requires level 15. I should get there tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'll get bored with it either but guess there's only one way to find out.
