Are you adjusting your time zone for daylight savings time? I'm UTC -6 and it's not yet 10:40 AM here. In the winter I'm UTC -7. So if you are normally (winter) UTC -6 and are now in daylight savings time then you should be UTC -5.

So, there's a delay before the server updates alliance flight counts? Twice I just sped up and restarted a flight that is part of my alliance task assignment. Clicking the postage stamp for that flight shows the flight count increasing but the alliance count for that flight has not yet...

I've seen the terms freeloader and stowaway used on the forum. Since those terms seem somewhat derogatory, I just assumed that most launchers wanted those joining to make a significant contribution unless a launch thread said otherwise. This old thread suggests otherwise...

I would join a slow burn launch. I sometimes launch with a non-forum friend but, especially with the worry of hijackers, they always rush it as well. However, that usually leaves me too low on bigger fuel items to make a worthwhile contribution to forum launches.
