good point, first to be part of it to observe how it works. Keep count on preps as in a party with 3 qls you do launches every few minutes (if you plan to ise max from it) you'll need 50-100 preps at least. Plan it in advance as it gets easier later. Quantity of fuel needed to speed up is always double the amount you need to take off. In my experience game take you correct amount regardless of what is written.

Regarding your fuel math. You added 2 options, i use 3rd, combination of both. To keep my fuel production almost all the time while i'm awake and to put additional fuel for sending planes in batches. Last week i managed to do 525 t-birds flights for alliance, with bonuses turnarond of 13 planes...
