Even though you're from that state up north, I figured the astronauts after 7 hours were tired of just sitting there. Launching seemed the humane thing to do.

If I remember correctly, there were a load of bugs the months leading up to 7.0. They never took the time to fix them, probably cause that were concentrating on the update. Why waste resources on fixing a bug for a version that will soon be replaced? So, the more unfixed bugs the closer 8.0 is?

This day and age, it is amazing what we will except as the new normal. This is relatively minor though, in the big picture.

I too got the 50 units fuel. At least it goes to the warehouse, if your warehouse is not full that is.

This makes no sense. When I clicked take it added 1 unit of fuel to my current store.

Turned the pad off and rebooted everything. Launch pad was reset with everything I thought I had lost. GOP of PLM3 if you want to join.
