I think you can do almost 100 launches in 24 hours (if you have lot of free time) ! so, first thing : be sure to have almost 100 launch preps. Then, if you want first or second place, be sure to have lot of MS and PEB (maybe 50 of each ?) !

I think they are pretty usefull when I use golden toad ! Even if the drop rate is not so great !

In my opinion : NO ! The only usefull building is Luna Park ! by flying maps which come from red launches !

Also, the bonus apllies to the flight even if the bonus is finished ! I saw it with my Potion of luck : duration 30 minutes, and the icone was still on my 3h30 flight when it landed !

I just did some tests : - Weathervan works as before - Business class, Comfort class, Sky Captain work only if you activate them before the flight ! - It seems that for golen key and dice, work only if you activate them before the flight too ...
