Very nice indeed, fresh ground black coffee and figs this morning. Regards Captain WH Rollins
Now figs I can't take to, don't know why!
A good friend of mine feels the same way about figs, not at all unusual. The figs need to be really fresh. Regards Captain WH Rollins
Sunday lunch will be Greek style - stuffed vegetables (large onions, red peppers and vine leaves) with minced veal, fresh green salad with dressing, homemade fresh baked bread and chilled white wine. This meal is really time consuming to prepare and cook, but well worth the end result. It is a meal much loved by all. Regards Captain WH Rollins
Day out with new car, wife and the dog tomorrow. So could well be fish and chips at the seaside for us, rounded off with a toffee apple or candy floss if anywhere is open
Wow - you both have great choices! - we have a lot on tomorrow, so not sure - I am now tempted to grab some fish and chips!
oh yes the beer will be chilled, for me its tuesday night for my shifts are through the weekend
Unlucky today, but lucky on Tuesday!
Pub lunch for today - toasted roast beef sandwiche with melted cheese, a small side dish of pickled red cabbage and a glass of Ale to wash it all down - a very quiet day, waiting for my game to be returned. Regards Captain WH Rollins
Staffordshire Oatcakes with cheese and a pork pie for me today
Late pub lunch for today - cheese and mushroom omelette, steamed green runner beans with a light dressing and a pot of English tea. Regards Captain WH Rollins
good old Steak and kidney pudding (real northern delicacy) and chips today, fab-u-lous!
Just got back from a 2 day course at work. Night out last night dined with pulled beef Denver fries with melted cheese and baked cheesecake for desert and a bottle of Malbec
yummo the wife n I watched a cooking show the other day where he just threw stuff in, no measurements, nothing wow it looked good
This comes as no real surprise to me, because I have been cooking across many decades, I'm able to measure ingredients with my eyes, rather than using kitchen scales. It just comes with experience. Regards Captain WH Rollins
Your supposed to use scales.....
Late lunch on Sunday - smoked haddock and potato fish pie, thyme buttered cabbage and carrots, homehome fresh baked bread and crisp white wine - for desert baked cheesecake with vanilla and strawberries. Regards Captain WH Rollins
