Lunch for today - there were a number of left over roast potato's, from yesterday's Sunday lunch, so an omelette was in order with a few eggs - simple and easy.

Totally agree - we tend to go simple on a Monday, bit of a detox after the weekend. Lovely bowl of cream of tomato soup with a warm bread roll and butter - perfect on a winters evening!

Lunch time pub food - a bowl of chunky minestrone vegetable soup, thick toasted ciabatta garlic bread served with olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper for dipping - one of my favourite soups for lunch.

Lunch at home today - Spanish omelette (steamed potato's, knob of butter, finely sliced onion, finely chopped red pepper, 2 eggs and chives) and steamed green beans and carrots.

Saturday night is take-away night - Thai Restaurant - Chicken Satay with Peanut Dip, Thai Green Curry, Steamed Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Bean Shouts, Crackers and chilled beer - family gathering.

Saturday night in Winnipeg will be at a new bar (right opposite my hotel) garbonzos pizza bar. Apparently food is good and the do REAL English CHIPS (nor crisps but chips). This place could add a few pounds to the waistline

It sounds very nice indeed, has been sometime since I made fresh pizza at home, with garlic bread and fried chips. Hope you enjoy the evening of food and drinks.
