Leftovers pie for us today - turkey and gammon (ham to our American friends) in a bread sauce with a suet crust on top, and triple fried chips - one of Mrs Ralphy's signature Christmas specials!

Pub lunch for today - pan fried pork chops with white wine sauce, steamed baby potato's and mixed green salad with French dressing.

i have had so much food and alcohol in the last couple of days, its 39c here today, sit back and watch some cricket and then swim in the pool

Hmmm plus 39, next Friday I am back off to my day job where the temps will range from MINUS 25 to MINUS 40.
Plenty of leftovers during the last few day, still go turkey as well . Coffee and Christmas cake each evening then a couple of nightcap’s (the joys of holidays)

All the turkey leftovers have been eaten, used in all manner of dishes, hidden and in plain sight.

Simple the order of the day - we had pasta and meatballs with a nice tomato and mascarpone sauce, just right after the rich food of the last couple of weeks!

Beef stew with mashed potatoes for us, be back to nightly pub (well sports bar food) from Friday. Hope this big freeze warms up by the time I get there. Forecast says it’s warming up so average temps with be around -20 so there will be plenty of chilli for me (not a pun at all)

Very nice - a really good combination of food ingredients, will have to make the meal one weekend.

We took a break from pub food today for some Dim Sum over in QueensPark. It was better than anything. I’ve had in the US

Tonight is Spurs-West Ham at Wembley...still pained me as an Arsenal fan to miss the Chelsea match yesterday as we had a tour for which it was the only time we could go

But tickets for Arsenal are SOOOO expensive. Must be one of the most expensive clubs in the UK, and I'm not just saying that as a Chelsea fan.

I’m looking for ticket for the leafs on Saturday at the acc. Cheapest I can find is 165 dollars up in the gods, not paying that it’s only the Canucks anyways
