General Strategy for Visa Centers

That's news to me. Was it a one off sale or was it one of the daily offers? Can you remember how many greenies?

It was one of the sales which lasted for a few days. The price was 90 something greens for visa centers. I don't remember whether they sold police station too though..
I thought it was way too expensive that time... well.. still think it was.. I am cheap!

I’ve recently bought my 6th police station so my collection radius is now 7. I took the following screenshots when the radius was 6 but it gives a good idea of the scope of things...

Everything in the <8hr section is covered for collection via contract or 6 individual taps on the VISA centres for instant collect at no cost. I rarely ever need alarm clocks now and rarely need to collect from the >8hr buildings. When I’m about to do a big push at maps, I put a VC in my magic square, activate an alarm clock and a one hour contract and only move the buildings from the >8hr section through the square. That tops my usable pax numbers up an extra 60k+ for about 30 min work.

When the sale was on it was 90 for visa center and 250 for police station I bought it and was glad I did. The extra radius helps.

If you have more than one visa centre, do they work independently of one another?
I.e. can I start a one hour contract on day 1, save up 10k pax with a 1 hour contract, and then on day 3 start a contract in the second centre and save another 10k (without having used the first 10k I have saved)?
Or do they work in tandem? If this is the case, does it double the cost for a 1 hour contract if I have 2 centres?

They work in tandem but the cost stays the same, with the benefit being you can collect from more buildings the more VCs you have

They all work in tandem, but same price. The benefit of more than 1 is longer contract, and if you have 6, you can start buying police stations, which will give you a larger area of coverage.

In that case i’ll Stick with one. I keep it by all of my bonus buildings and run each building through it 1 by 1 to save maximum numbers. Adding more won’t really bring much benefit for me. Save the golds for my lil’ casinos

I was planning on getting all of the Visa Centres, but I don’t think I’ll be able to use them with the fuel limitations coming in version 7
