Before I purchase one of the S planes can someone tell me how much more fuel they burn than the standard plane?

No more extra fuel, they just reduce flight time. S3 planes cannot be bought they are earned via Alliance maps. Keep in mind all of the S-types require Greens to fix (not had s1 or s2 planes but is the case for s3).

Save your money/tokens. Not worth the cost.

I feel like the S1 is pretty worthless. A S2 with the 30% faster flight time may be more worthwhile despite the repair issue. I have two prop S2s and like having them for those flights but the others get expensive in a hurry

What is the repair cost on the prop S2?

It costs 1 or 2 greenies. I just let them sit in the repair bay when they break.

It’s definitely individual preference but for the prop size planes I feel it’s worth it.

Don't waste it on small S-planes.

From Giants onwards S-planes become more interesting, if you have funds to spare. The S-planes will cut flight time by hours not minutes like prop planes and they cost greens to repair anyway.
e.g. instead of 2 regular Condors a day, in theory you'll be able to send out 3.
But they will cost you an arm and a leg.

Also note that regular Props and Turboprops are very cheap. Nothing beats that coin price, so hold on to your (gold) tokens for serious business (Casino, Bank, Mint, reserve hangar 2 if you must) instead of S2s.
Goal completed and/or need another plane type? Sell the props. One first place in red will buy you 10 new ones when you need them again. Save (reserve) room for the big expensive ones...
