Definitely save your tokens for Bank/Casino/Mint (and to restart them once you manage to purchase them) and for Reserve Hangar 2. Keep in mind that while Reserve Hangar 2 is always available through Alliance Office, the other 3 buildings become available only during the very rare Sale of Casino/Bank/Mint approximately once each 18 months - last such sale was 6-7 months ago..
Fly regular planes and if you would like to be special, join alliance, collect maps and fly respective destinations for Mystery Super Bonus and S3 planes (not that I've done this yet).

Bank = ?? 150 gold + 1500 silver (not really sure)
Casino = 100 gold + 800 silver, produces 3 greenies every 6 hours for 30 days
after the initial period greenies are being transformed to coins; you can restart a building for 75% of the purchase price and then you will have one more period with greenies.
Both while producing greenies and coins the above buildings drop (very seldom) items for one unique collections each, and for full collection you get one Mystery Bonus Box.

Btw, another good use of silver tokens are Grand Hotels (300 silver, pop + 300).

I have in my account HMYH S1 Giant and Falcon and Thunderbird why i bought them because i will pay greens to repair or 12 hours waiting in repair hangar the same with normal type planes but S1 jumbo and smaller planes never take S1 i can repair them fast with the spare part items.
My second account i have the S1 and S2 giant, falcon, Thunderbird.
By the way when i start buying these type of plane first i buy one S1 giant its not do any thing for me if you want to buy in my experience you should have minimum 3 of each, soon when your city grow up sometimes you have to sell and buy again the smaller planes.

as your calculation it is right but in real can you get from mint every 4 hours do you have the time for a month no one can get from mint for 30 days 100 % the greens you to miss and after 30 days are you sure that you have enough to restart the min this what i mean its difficult not easy some players they keep the mint without restarting because it cost 200 gold now the gold not easy to get.
But for sure easy to get the 75 gold for one casino in a month.

Normal planes Giant, falcon, Thunderbird is it need greens to repair or 12 hours.
S1 Gian, falcon, thunderbird they need the same greens or 12h in repair hangar.
if i want to buy i will go for S1 why i should spend 300000 for giant but easy to spend 20 gold 200 silver for one Giant if i need 3 planes Giant i have to buy it with 900000 three S1 Giant 60 gold 600 silver
Now do the calculate for the falcon and thunderbird if i need to buy 3 of each which is better spend all the coins i have or just few gold and silver and both for repairing need time or greens.
The coins i saved use it for something else runway L7, upgrade my terminal and control tower these building need a lot of coins and the factories we need to build too.
Now after i build every thing and upgrade i have coins a millions so i start to buy the normal flights and then sell them like what i did for Mecca i bought 13 giants to 1000 flight 3 of them S1 the other normal and then i sell some of them.
There is a point in the game that every player easy to save millions coins but not for the beginner those still need a lot build and upgrade.

You can't repair them faster only if you pay greens for fast repair.
The only difference between normal planes and S1,2,3 planes are the speed and nothing else.
