I put this Excel spreadsheet together so I could keep track of the Alliance maps that I've earned. It lists the Collections/Destinations/Planes/Items Needed/Stars and an empty column to count the maps.
Perhaps it will come in handy for some of you.
Please let me know if I've made any errors!
Cheers,
Tom

Beats my hand written mess, how many maps do you reckon you need for each destination or have you not gone that far? It's tricky depending on what plane types and bonuses you have but I figured three for falcons with real accurate timing and no speeding up with fuel. Yet to test this theory but it doesn't put the whole lot too far out of reach, just need lots more maps for giant and jumbos. Oh and patience to sit there for nine hours using timers...

@M22
Going for these collections are at least a year off for me.
Right now I have 11 Falcons, 6 Giants and 1 Powerful Delta flying to the quest destinations to collect stars. After this quest is over, I'll continue to fly Falcons to collect the remaining stars.
When I finish this, I'll put some planes in the Reserve Hangar and sell the rest. Then I'll buy Turboprops for the Apogee map collections. And since Turboprop planes are relatively cheap and use relatively little fuel and passengers, it makes sense to get as many as I can. I'll buy 18 for the 12 regular hangars and the 6 small hangars. My strategy has always been to fly as many planes as possible when using maps; it's the most efficient way to go.
Cheers,
Tom

Yep, using 18 small planes might possibly make some of the lower level maps quite achieavble without using s3 planes with only one or two maps but it means selling others so order needs to be taken really. Which is why I plan on starting with falcons I think, before selling the s2s. Then I think working back up to giants keeping my current s3 giants in reserve until needed. I'll be more certain once I've had a proper go although I did fly to baden baden with 12 planes and got 142 flights without speeding any up with fuel. I did this right after doing the green maps btw. Should give an idea of what's achievable with super bonuses and bonuses.

Thanks a lot, very good and valuable table,
One question: there in column Stars, for all destinations, it is the same: 50/25/500

Just wondering what that means: 50 flights for 1st star, 25 more for second and total 500 of them (?!?!?!) for 3rd star? :censored::cautious: (n)

I left out a zero. The actual is 50/250/500. Yes, for all of them. The corrected file is now attached. Thanks for catching it!

Tom

No problem (y)

In case of 50/250/500, we will need tons of maps ... :bag::blackeye:
Top end I'd say about 200 maps distributed appropriately and not using special planes. So a long old task even at the top but up to the jet destinations plus falcon should all be doable on minimal maps. Just another logistical challenge on a slightly larger scale than red maps etc but surmountable

@M22 Did you get the 142 flights to Baden Baden with 12 planes and no extra fuel using only one map, or did you use multiple maps or bonuses? Can you provide more details? I was assuming without using extra fuel that you would only be able to fly twice per plane by using flight catalyst...24 flights per map. It would therefore take about 25 maps per destination to get 3 stars, which is impractical. However, if you are able to get 142 flights out of each map, then 3 stars on those destinations are much more achievable. What are the flight times?

Flight time was not too much something like 37 minutes. I used spirit of adventure super bonus to make the map last nine hours, jet pack to automatically speed up (I think, can't remember if these flights use catalysts), vintage weather vane to speed up 30% and secret faucet to top up fuel. Setting like that, as I say, low level alliance flights are quite achievable. I. Did send all 12 planes at once each time which might have taken 20 or 50 extra fuel but no fuel on speeding up so really not a lot!

What is small hangar? Hangar for attack planes?
Yes, Small hangars are the ones for attack planes (Russian mission) or the X-mas hangars for sleighs.
If you make them empty by selling your attack planes and sleighs (check your stock if you have enough attack planes/sleighs to replace them in the future, or deserve new ones in coming quests) you can move any type of plane from Reserve hangar to these Small hangars. Only loading time will be a little longer then usual. The maximum for Small hangars is 6 in total so if you have them you can fly 18 planes at the same time!

Have I completely missed something?
What size planes will these hangers take?
Do they go up to Falcons?
