When i try and purchase a plane with my gold tokens it says I do not have enough, i have enough but not in silver, how do i get them to let me purchase it in gold?

you just purchase with gold tokens only. You need both gold and silver.
Silver is very easy to get, just complete space launches and associated collections,
most people have a difficult time collection gold but not silver.
