iOS Can't send gifts or collect items from neighbours

I've not been able to send gifts for days now and it's really frustrating as I'm trying to upgrade my mission control centre to complete the phantom menace challenge
I also can't visit neighbours and collect items from buildings
Is anyone else having this problem and know how to sort it?

I have installed Airport City on iPad and Android.
When I visit some neighbors with iPad, the game is blocked, or closed and fail gifts to neighbors.
When I visit my game from Android to iPad, I have no problems.
Do not get gifts from iPad to Android.
If I receive gifts from Android to iPad.

I wonder if it happens to more neighbors.

Happy Helen - your fuel cat has arrived ok, not sure if the gift I sent you arrived your end...? Will try sending jet engine on next gift cycle ref your other post..
