Alliance office.

So I've been in an alliance now for 3 weeks it's all good very laid back averaging a top 500 finish.

Enjoying the perk that comes with it ( first class ) but my question is what is the purpose of an alliance office? Can anybody shed some light on this.

The alliance office is required only if you want to be alliance leader (create a new alliance or take the leadership of an other) !

You need it for sure, because it allows you to buy the Grand Hotel for example.
