sometimes i see shortcuts of gifts Wanted in nicknames. Obviously they are in english but as a lot forummembers are not english is there maybe a list?

Sp= Spare propeller for example

Our games are also in our own language. For me in dutch (netherlands)

There is a list i tryed to find it in which thread but cannot what i have now is the shortcut for some
QL = Quantum Leap
MS = Main Stabilizer
LFT = Large Fuel Tank
PEB = Powerful Explosive Bolt
SG = Spy Glass
GD = Golden Dice
D = Dice
SC = Sky Captain
SF = Secret Faucet
BB = Bottomless Barrel
BC = Business Class
AC = Airport City
But i will do a new list and posted maybe with translate it is a good idea and put it in the Airport City Guides forum.
Who gonna help me with this list appreciated and let me know :)

A lot of these i know. But sometimes for gifting its hard. I see ar, vr, sw, sp lol
Ar additional radar
Vr virtual reality glasses
Sw spare wire
Sp spare propeller
Fc can stand either for fuel catalyst or flight catering. Usually catalyst.
Ai attitude indicator
Fa fuel additives
Fs fuel supply
Lol for lollipop
I had the same problem and even sometimes I'm in doubt

Thats true sometimes difficult but give me for tomorrow or day after and i will make a list for every one and easy to understand and i will try with other members to translated.
I had that idea and even started a spreadsheet with EN terms with PT translations (some of the translations to PT provided by GI don't make sense at least in PT-PT, perhaps they're more intelligible in PT-BR) It took me ages to get my signature ready! Perhaps we could start a multi language spreadsheet for items

It's a little off topic but this reminds me of a night I played Pub Trivia in Maastricht when I was there for a business trip. The girl was asking questions in Dutch and translating it to English. The Dutch guys were laughing because there were a few occasions where they had no idea of the answer until she asked it in English because it sounded like 2 different questions.

With English being my 2nd language imagine me trying to dicipher a dutch or Spanish abbreviation :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Whenever I'm in doubt I always go for second choice and / or F20, especially FC which can stand for Flight Catering or Fuel Catalyst
That's not the idea. The problem is the other way round. It's established that we communicate in english, but our games are in different languages so sometimes is really difficult to identify the correct object.
Take for instance the attitude indicator. What does it do? I don't have a clue... attitude? Is that a sensor that tell us the plane is polite and well behaved? :confused: :ROFLMAO:
If I take the Portuguese name in AC for that object and translated it word by word to English it would be something like Artificial Horizon. Does that make sense? I don't know, because I know nothing about planes. Well, it could be useful to me knowing that
AI = Attitude indicator = Horizonte Artificial
I think it happens the same with many other players

I will help you how much i can if you need a private thread to make a test for every thing and discuss it there with who want to help lets do it send me private what you need (y)

That's why I changed the language setting in my phone to English! ;)

You should see their Korean Translation!! I couldn't understand some of them until I changed my phone to English. :ROFLMAO:
And even worse, they wrote in Japanese for Fruit Lollipop for Korean game.:(

I think it's Altitude Indicator. Indicator of height in aviation context, a distance measurement usually in vertical direction.

Attitude? Have no idea. :)
