Android 5.8.12 Lag when collecting passengers/anything

Seems to be a bit of laggyness in the game when collecting a few planes, passengers or coin buildings now in 5.8.12, worse than it's been in a long while. It's becoming a real chore when trying to fly Condors and collecting many passenger buildings.

(I would tag free2play but I know he dislikes that, but this needs a quick fix as it is unbearable at the moment).

Using Galaxy S6, Android 6.0.1

i believe the lag is due to Airport City File getting to big with all the changes. It takes longer to load. GI is aware of the issue but its fix do not solve the problem at its root.

I was visiting neighbours. I was in the process of loading the city when suddenly gi's infamous advertisement of "play this game and get 5 greenies" pops up out of nowhere and I close it right away. And after that, my neighbour's city didn't have the coin and passengers pop up. So I have to click on the buildings to get the extra coins and passengers.

No big deal EXCEPT THE WHOLE UI DISAPPEAR / WAS NOT THERE. There was no heart info, coin info etc and WORST OF ALL, I couldn't visit another neighbour nor could I return to my city because of the MISSING UI. I have to close the game and open it again just because of a STOOPID gi ads in the middle of loading a city.

It was ok up until 5.8.9 and 5.8.12, whatever they have done in the last 2 updates have slowed the game right down, especially when collecting several buildings and or sending several planes.

EDIT - Clearing AC cache makes it much worse....
EDIT 2 - The lag occurs when the passengers or coins are flying into the sky.

Have noticed this same lagging (reduced frame rate) issue after 5.8.12 update. Phone is a Galaxy S6. The coins and passengers flying across the screen when harvesting was smooth as can be prior to this update.
