You will find when you link your game to a google account it changes to £. I am in the UK and any support games I have that aren't linked to a google account have offers in $ and my main game is in £ because it is linked.

I do not have a Google account and never had a problem in the past. So something has gone astray.

I have had this problem also.
However if I leave it for a few minutes and then try again it has reverted to ££££

The only other thing I can think of is to check your region and language are set to English.

The last update Gi is asking for the email, you must have a gmail or your game will stop.
When you create Gmail account then you can buy and play the game.

As per my one of my previous post's I never have had Gmail and this has never stop me purchasing item in £'s. It only happened after the last update and I'm not interested in opening a Gmail account. It will be a shame if I can no longer play.

Hi Waterlow. I am in the UK and use Windows for my support games. It often defaults to US$ and will not allow me to make purchases. Eventually I played with the settings for the Windows Account (either under "settings" or under Windows/System/Control Panel), and found by default that it set Region and Language to English (United States). To change it you have to have Administrator Account which is not allocated by default under Windows 8 or 10, and you may have to access your account in Safe Mode to overcome this. I would wish you good luck - but even after 28 years of Windows use some problems still cause me frustration to resolve, and often take several weeks and a lot of patience and research to resolve. Cheers Andy

Thanks for the Heads up, but it's been 2 week of frustration and I've given up. I have had to delete the program to try and resolve the issue and all I get now when I try to re-install all I get is Acquiring License then locks me out. When I deleted the game, I had found x2 Globes, No space left to build, no not allowed to purchase any of the in game offers.
