Quite a few plots of land could be retrieved if all helicopter related structures could be sold and removed from the game site. All the land could be used for far better structures.

I got this wrong I thought you couldn't sell four unique building's after seeing this post I checked again and you can actually sell the Resource Base which means three that are unique; Fuel Station H, Repair H and Terminal H which cannot be removed. As it stands I might as well leave the 4th (I've realised you can sell) as it's not going to make much difference and as discussed wait for further updates.
