Never forget. GIS are in this to make money.

You can have all the PEB's you desire for 9 greenies per PEB, and all the main stabilisers you want for 3 greenies per stabiliser.

Earning them for freee from launch boxes is a bonus, and one that will always prove difficult to achieve.

I wish I could disagree with you, but you're absolutely right. I still think it's a possibility though. The game is constantly improving, and gameplay is quite different compared to when I started 13 months ago. I expect great things as this game evolves

Thats a sentiment I share. I wonder when we start transporting cargo on planes? Now that could be a whole new world of missions and collectables, as well as some very interesting potential events.
True, but Im more interested in efficiency of the current capabilities we have. If we can be more efficient, I would be more happy with that vs create new ideas. The helis was the latest big addition, with some revolutionary changes, but I'm not crazy about the rewards, so I haven't invested very much in it. I want to make my current gaming experience more efficient

Well let me ask this. For all the players out there who have a large supply of launch resources (more than 50 PEBs for example), I have two questions in regards to your resources:
1) How were you able to accumulate so many items? How long did you go without launching in order to build your supply?
2) How have you been able to maintain your collection and prevent it from dwindling?

I know about visiting neighbors and having the launch item buildings (I have 6 rocket gardens and 4 alien legacies), therefore accumulating items isn't the real issue. I can easily stop launching for months and build up my stores. The issue is maintaining the stash once you accumulate it. You can blow all your resources in just one QL party if it's a long one. However, there are many players who do launches everyday and have a large supply at their disposal all the same. I just want to know if there is something amiss in terms of ability to accumulate items at a fast enough rate to counter the loss due to daily launches. It's just always been a struggle since day 1. Maybe it's because I never took the time to spend months saving my resources

Thank you for posting this, these are things I would like to know also. After joining many QL's this weekend and past weekend's it something I'm curious as my supplies took/take a real hit therefore find it harder to do my own during the week.

Exactly. It's the one thing I've struggled with the most. I've had discussions with people who say they have over 90 PEBs at the moment....like WHAT?!....and some do QL launches every weekend. Even with my rocket gardens and daily visits, I do not get enough PEBs and other items on a daily basis to compensate for the loss due to a 1st place launch (especially if it's red). Unfortunately, even the launch buildings follow the same guidelines in regards to collecting. If you always need one item to finish a collection (a lot of the other 4 but one super rare item), then the buildings follow that same rule. In other words, accumulation of items is difficult no matter the path you take.

I totally agree and have had several conversations with other members about this, I have no idea what strategy some people are using and I would love some advice on this.

90 PEB's  they're either super rich or know something we don't.

The thing that I've noticed more and more this past few weeks (like you mentioned) the collections especially (for me) the Orbital Telescopes on my main account which are, as we know needed for Red and Blue launches I have 20+ items in that collection and it is now becoming so hard to obtain the Light Gathering Mirror...the other option Gi gives us is to purchase a OT for 20 Greenies :ROFLMAO:.

My support account its the Treadmill again just a pair of trainers to complete but again this item is getting more rare to obtain.

Yes, I am doing all the right neighbour clicks before anyone jumps in and tells me...I've been at this for a while but like you Nav I'd like someone in the know to give me some game strategy/advice on this.

Well you will always have one super rare item, even though all the items are "very seldom". The only way to really take advantage of this is if you manage to do your collecting at a time when the "rare item" switches. It happens from time to time, and you find yourself completing the collection very quickly. However, that only lasts until the switch of rare items is complete.
There must be something else. I know it's a numbers game, but there has to be a key point missing in terms of maintaining your stores

Definitely, we just need someone to tell us if we're missing something here or if there's a better/different strategy we could use.

Well, there are things you could influence and other you can’t.
You shouldn’t be excused for complaining you are low on any Telescopes. After the end of the Quantum Leep event I was almost at 0 red preps. I started flying for several weeks (I believe six or 7 in a row) to Observatories (Delta to South Obs) and I gathered enough collections. I also flew Jumbos to Jiuquan and collected enough from the other Telescope. I visitited only Cosmic Fuel Stations for a week and I recovered my inventory of Lunar Modules. The only collection you can’t really do much about is the last red - it comes only from Planetariums.
Launch ready boxes: fly 4 or 6 or 8 TPs to Cape Canaveral for days and you will get enough boxes to open. You could increase your PEB/MS/LFT significantly.
Well, you’ll still not be able to reach the vets who collected preps and boxes from Planetarium visits with GD for ages (just an example: I remember days when with activated GD shortly before reset time, thus visiting 2x12 neighbors I was earning 80k coins, i.e. 50+ collections) but you will have at least some stuff to do frequent red launches.
Btw, with the last year changes and the low income of red preps I would never do 3 or 4 QL parties - you burn your resources not optimal. Instead I would go for 2 QL parties, having half of the launches 1st seat and thus getting maximum from my limited resources ;)

Thank you very much for that and taking time to explain things.

Basically I am doing what you have said there for the most part flying to CC/Jiuquan/Obs and doing the clicks, its the Light Gathering Mirror that I get from Planetariums that I'm having the biggest drought with lol...got all the other items in that collection, so that's frustrating.

So what you are saying really is, its the vets whom we newbie's can't compete with due to all the changes made with what you used to receive to what we get now?! Well bring back the good old days I say ;)

Ok thanks also for the advice on the QL's I will let you know.

Yes I caught the tail end of the GD Planetarium days, but I didn't join the forum as yet, so I couldn't fully take advantage of it. It looks like the only way to really get to a sustainable level is to stop launching for a few months, gather resources, and then dedicate enough flights to the appropriate destinations to maintain them.

Every thing need time (i mean a months) i have in one of my accounts More than 90 PEB and in other 2 PEB and i have thousands prep in account and one account less than 100 prep i have about 5 accounts.
I am doing launch when i need fuel but i am saving more than i spend and when the server problems show up i stop doing daily launches maybe 2 times in a week.
Between my accounts i found the PEB coming more to my supports accounts more than my 2 main accounts HMYH & Husam :ROFLMAO: :wacky:

One more thing there is a players they have more than 2000 PEB  :whistle::whistle:

No, no, no... Don't stop launching rather support with bulk fuel and get the tickertape running.
I will post them here at the end of it (Y)
5 Boxes today, all rubbish.

Yes support is an option, but two things about supporting:
1) Unless you're just tagging along with the 56 pts, you can still lose significant amounts of LFT and MS. There are times both of them get a bit scarce (though not as scarce as PEBs), and you could easily use 4 or 5 of each while supporting. If you don't have a reliable way to replenish them, then you're defeating the purpose of building reserves
2)You will be using precious launch items from completed collections. If you are running low on a launch item (IR telescope for red launches for example), you will be using the precious few you have for the sake of fuel....not a wise decision. Flying support for fuel should only be done if you have enough launch items, and even then, you need to monitor how much support you're giving. I feel bad for just tagging along and not giving more, but a proper support requires resources as well.
Just my 7 cents.
