Golden Dice is a flight bonus, as clearly stated in its description, and it was never supposed to be a buildings-to-visit bonus. Yes, many players used that bug for a very long time to get more drops from buildings, and I don't blame them, but we've fixed it eventually several months ago.

Yes, it might be a good idea to have a separate bonus for buildings drop that can be both purchased and acquired for free through achieving some in-game goals — but that's another story for another day.

I managed to get six Burial Vaults fairly quickly, but have so far only managed to collect 6 Whispers in the Walls items.

As suspected Whispers in the Walls is killing me on the quest. In 58 Burial Vaults visits since the post above I have had one Whisper in the Walls item drop.

I'm even starting to question if the upgrade has killed the ability to collect the items at all - and there is another bug.

The other two collections in the quest are going swimmingly, but I am at the point where I stop completing collections and just let the items hang in the warehouse potentially for next year.

A couple of days ago I tried using Golden Dice and Vintage Weathervane to get the two Sesen I needed to complete the quest. 35 Giza flights landed without a single Ancient Ritual drop.
Yesterday I tried the same thing using no bonuses. 35 Giza flights landed with one Ancient Ritual drop ... a Sesen. Yeah!
Today I'm trying it again with Vintage Weathervane and Spy Glass. Will report back.

Gues we were lucky before with the bug . but still love the game and not gone stop me soon:D
And i realy like the idee off a bonuss that adds to special-buildings drops as you mentioned now thats something i defenetly would pay greens for and i gues iam not the only one hope it comes thru.

I think the drops are just really seldom. I think I need 10 items from that collection to finish the quest but I have no idea if I’ll get there. I did at least get a few items earlier

Its been about the same for me. It might have had the appearance of being better when you were first filing up the terminal with possessed passengers and clicking the vaults more often.

#3: Golden Dice with Vintage Weathervane -- Zero Drops
I understand this is not a legitimate survey, but still ... is a Golden Dice bonus really worth four bank notes?
I'll try this survey again starting tomorrow ... until the last Sesen drops.
UPDATE:
I just landed seven flights to Giza with no bonuses. The first plane dropped a Sesen ... so the quest is complete and I can go back to regular flights.
Here's the updated and final score:
#1: Spy Glass with Vintage Weathervane -- 6 Drops
#2: No bonuses -- 2 Drops
#3: Golden Dice with Vintage Weathervane -- Zero Drops

Can you get the items the burial vaults produce when you visit your neighbor's burial vaults? I tried for several days and only got passengers. Since I'm at my terminal's limit for event passengers I have to burn flights just to collect the items from my own vaults so I definitely don't want to visit neighbor vaults if I can't get the Whispers in the Walls collection.

No, you cannot.
If you want to know what you can get from your neighbors' buildings, click/tap on one after you are finished getting your five gifts.

I did the same used GD, Dice, SG, WV in this event the drop was so pad for me.

I am using 6 planes in the air at any 1 time but only completed 2 of the 5 x 5 collections, I agree there is something amiss. I don't mind failing but this quest is impossible unless you spend a lot on money.
