no, it should not be lost.

If your device is rooted, you should be able to make a current back up which is transferable to your new device.
GI can also help depending on the what device, the most you can lose is a couple of days.

So, is it possible to run the same game on 2 different devices (only using one at a time)?
Andoid, google play.

I play on a tablet, but it would be convenient to have the game on my phone as well, for when I'm out and about.

Thanks

I suppose it would be possible, but sometimes it takes google play a while to update the game, and you'd have to be really careful to click the correct game when they ask you which one you want. (current or saved). When I switched devices the first time, I had to play to level 5 before they updated to my current game. The 2nd time I switched, they updated the game halfway through the tutorial. (I switched from an old phone to an android emulator on my PC, then to a different emulator) Maybe someone who plays with android on a more regular basis would know more.

Hi Jevolen,

Few months ago, i did a progress saved with play google before switching / changing android device. But one thing i lost the neighbours who where present. So google does not restore neighbours.

As per my experience i feel that to have neighbours from this forum. Atleast if neighbour is lost, they can be re-added by sending request. Which i did and it saved me.

That was supposed to be one of the all new awesome features from the big April stuffup update. Ihave not read of anyone doing it so far and as Crescent Moon said above, it's likely to cause errors and cause more grief than it's worth.

But if you get obtain a new device, and download AC on said new device, would you get hit with the 100 item limit?

Second question, if your first device that you currently play AC on is rooted, and you copy your game to a new device, would that get you the 100 item limit as well? Would you inevitably have to redownload AC on this new device and have the limit imposed at that point?

I do that on occasion and things work fairly well, just be sure your using the same google account on both devices.
