As you all know, G! just provided an update, and at first glance, all seemed well. A new event had begun, planes were taking off almost the same as in real life, and we now had a new alliance facility to use tokens. All was well until I checked my gifting list. My f20 was gone...replaced by a measly pax10!!!! Now my question is if this was a deliberate move by the designers to break up all the fuel rings around the world and upset a lot of gamers. I really hope not, because if it is, there will be a mass exodus of a lot of veterans who rely on f20 to complete their tasks. It mostly affects people with main accounts that can send f20, because nobody is going to start their main acct all over again. I won't even go into details about the repercussions of this. What do you guys think?

no, it happens every time there is an major update those who had it Fuel20 lose it. and those who do not have it get.

I use to have Fuel20 but lost it in the last major update. I do not know if I will get it back. I'll have to wait and see.

Personally I see it like this.
Those of us who have acquired major metropolis's/cities over the years; if GI takes away the fuel, we can no longer fly like we want. I'm already finding my primary city, with a good percentage of my residences, not going anywhere on planes, because I no longer have the fuel. And that is due to burning up reserves for the stupid alliance missions from the last stupid update.
So either the players comply to GI wishes and spend more real money, or players are forced to create other support accounts; thus dealing with the 100 limit cap on items.
Either way it is a lose, lose, situation for the players.
Before the stupid extra mission thing with alliances, and my alliance team will agree, I was doing great, if I lol could get enough clock and family ticket bonuses, because my residences COULD NOT replenish passengers fast enough to keep up with flight demands.
I'm again at a point where I may go back and change the title of my thread about quitting. Only if I quit, I will completely remove all files of AC from my computer, tablet, cellphone or whatever devices I have backups or games stored on. IF I WALK AWAY, I WALK AWAY COMPLETELY!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you're saying almost exactly what was said a year ago when the same thing happened. Those of us with fuel(20) lost it and got passengers(10). Now, we're getting fuel(20) back, and everyone who enjoyed having fuel over the last year is now stuck with passengers. You will survive. New fuel rings will be formed. Like I mentioned previously, they should just do away with passengers and let everyone have fuel.

I told there are limitations in the game.
Alarm Clock and Family tickets are ones of them.
I put every Passenger Buildings I have and only available at 2 mill.
I can do 4 mill but not every week.
Only if I get some Alarm Clocks and Family Tickets.

To get 3 stars in 1 Condor destination is 450k.
So, if anyone can do like 20 mill, alone, he is stronger than Superman.
He is above the law.

And what GI do, calculate all those numbers, redesign the game, and let us do it, while it is almost unreal..............

As for the fuel rings people have created, it all should have been done privately. Too many GI spies in the forums, and not sure who to trust. So revealing the thing about fuel rings, glitches, etc., anything that would benefit the players; it is guaranteed there is someone who is going to run back and rat to the devs, the owners of AC, that we are getting way too many freebies.

Well then im keeping my fuel ring acct the way it is until at least next year if I can help it. The loss to the main acct sucks, but it was more of an add-on instead of a necessity, so yes...now I know its a yearly gimmick, and will be ready for it next year.

I may be in the minority here but it's no big deal to me. I have lost F20 on my main and my support games but it's happened before. In the 3 and a bit years I've been playing it's happened maybe twice or three times. I will work my way round it like in previous times. I am in two fuel rings, the trick to them is to only use them for fuel, that way they are easy to close and easy to start another if I want to.

The way to success in AC is to manage what you have, not what you think you will get. I've been doing some of the alliance missions and also still doing adventure flights but I don't overstretch my resources. I try to plan in advance. If I do adventure maps I set myself a small target, once I get it I stop. That way I don't use all my fuel up. Same with alliance missions, I have 7 days to complete them, I try to plan it out over the week, if I complete one to help ,y alliance then great, if not I try again next week but I don't overstretch my fuel resources.

That's how I work it, it may not be for everyone but I'm playing AC for the long term. Most of my progress on AC has been in the last year since I joined this forum and read up all the advice ,any of you guys give.

I cannot work out why they change the gifts but it's happened before and will happen agin.

The most annoying thing for me is that I now have to update my signature to show the change in gifts which is awkward to do on my phone :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

I can see people are upset with the change of fuel. BUT I can say finally I got it back after a year of not having it. It feels good but there are other things you can gift which are probably better than fuel 20. I personally before the change I tried to gift the wireless compass for players 60 to 70, 70 to 80 the VR so it is less time and flights needing to go the the main place to get more or these items when you already 3 starred them.

I had F20 for 2,5 years, then it was removed with last year update (I think it was Age of Ash event). Now I got it back. Just adopt to new situation and play along. I think it is more fair then before as now everyone at some timepoint will have F20 for a year, then switch.

Yeah I've adapted to it actually. Was just a bit of a shock the first time it happened.
