I think that event is draining memory. I have old win phone and it takes few more seconds to reload and to event items in the city appear (with 3-5 seconds delay)

Well, Duke should leave in 9 hours, so maybe tomorrow the support game will work. Primary game gifting and visiting clock broke. Visiting clock should hit zero in nine hours as well. Coincidence?

Just had this happen to 2 of my 3 airports, have not opened the 3rd as I am certain it is doomed as well.
Nice to see that excellent response @Davejoyg from "support" I think I will skip sending in a ticket.
Obviously it is our hardware nothing to do with faulty code, so no use wasting their time.

Decided may as well try my main game and it does work. @mo elbo mentioned it may be the Duke glitch where
you need to keep him away from the road when he is leaving/arriving. I always keep Duke away from the road on my main that is working
and have no Duke on the 2 that have frozen. So perhaps no Duke is just as bad as having him on a road?!?! I just hope my main continues to work so at least I can keep trying to get my final 4 drops from CW to finish this event.

@Kesh , @Wired Parrott , having same problem on android, see my post on no support ticket in this forum. I have a new 16 GB octacore 1 GB ram tablet.
I fully believe it IS a memory problem AND their server. Have you seen what's in your cache after playing? I'm in US (DEST) and have problems mostly in morning. On sleepless nights I can play so much smoother, say 2-4 am...has anyone else experienced this?

I'm not an IT, but this looks like there is an issue with syncing to game servers. Until xmass update all platforms were spreaded and xmass update joined us on same server. Looks like when there are more players syncing to the server ( playing the game while online) game is slower and crushing. But it is only my assumption.

Many complain about the same, and this is all since Age of Ash quest started. Also alliance window gives you lag/delay for up to 30 seconds, also bonuses are not active after you start them. Hope they will fix this with next update. Yes, sync with their servers are slowing the game too...
