It's easy to avoid the clouds, if u only use the arrow keys, never touching the speed controls. that should keep you in a steady but moderate speed, and if you start turning the moment the clouds show up, there is no problem at all.

that message comes from time to time for me as well, i just close the window and open again, and eventualy it works
