After completing (and enjoying) several space flights, I have been stumped for several weeks getting back in space. Specifically I am unable to complete the space suit collection (9 x astronaut helmets, 0 life support systems, 11 space suit gloves, 1 magnetic boots, 13 thermal garments). I have tried evertything - loads of flights to cape canaveral, baikonur, north and south observatories; daily visits to neighbours space travel monuments, and training centres. Still struggling. Didn't have this problem achieving my first 9 missions (4 apogee, 5 Prometheus). What has changed?

Have you tried training centers?

I think space travel monuments don't drop for neighbors, just for self...
Solid fuel station, planetariums, MCCs and launch pads are the top choice when visiting neighbors, imho

Solid fuel stations, MCC's and launch pads are my main targets when visiting neighbours. I see very few planetariums. They all give lots of lunar space goodies - but nothing for space suit.

What is a training centre? What does it look like? What do you need to do to obtain one?
If you click an item it will tell you where you can get the item...ex. In the screen shot above.
Also a great site for AC info is the wiki. You can click on it at the bottom of the forum page. Her is the link for the training center. http://airportcity.wikia.com/wiki/Training_Center

Thank you for enlightening me. It is unsurprising that I had no idea what a Training Centre was... 66 friends and only Madlen has a Training Centre!
Most of my neighbors that have them are ranked 73 and above...however, I have neighbors that are at 80 that doesn’t have any. There is a thread in the trading forum that has players with planetariums. A lot of those players also have the training centers. You can also start your own thread to ask. Training centers are where I get most of my launch items. But I also click to see which items I am in need of before visiting so and where to find before I just go visiting to click.

I am not sure, I am not having this problem. I've completed 10 missions and have 5 complete suits waiting to be used. I wasn't trying but that what I have.

After several days help from neighbours with Training Centres, and a gift of having to complete 219 flights to Baikonur for my Alliance this week, I am on my second successful Prometheus space flight, with reserves for at least four more.

Jaybee helped most with his advice and information on Training Centres (I never knew). But it's repeated visits to Baikonur that have filled the remaining gaps - it appears to need a balance of the two to get the resources most needed. The Planetariums are providing other resources that may help with the lunar flights, and I have earned over 300,000 coins this week with some clever bonus use also suggested in these forums. So I am not far off upgrading to MCC level 3.

@andy8758 Training centers are great, I supplement with a few Planetariums and Cosmic Fuel Stations and true when I had to do a mission to Baikonur and North Observatory I was able to get a lot of supplies. I have enough for approximately another 19 green and blue launches, but trying to get more. After I earn another 100K I can buy runway 6 and then work on MCC3 and the red launch pad. :D

Get the mcc and pad first. Use that money to build your runway

Thanks but I already have the runway...I was tired of rejecting the falcon flights....now I can get them with all the goodies they drop...working on the MCC now...just under halfway to it...but then someone pointed out that it take 6 days to build....glad I got the runway first cause that will be frustrating along with waiting for the launch pad to build....I’ll use the money I make from red launches to buy the other buildings necessary for flights and then upgrade other buildings.

I have now completed MCC3 and having built the Lunar Launch pad, I am now waiting for my 6 days to pass. Meanwhile, I discovered another bonus last week. I made the 3rd highest number of flights to Baikonur, and collected a load of goodies including my first ever Gold Token  There are a huge lot of things to do, so I am holding off the Giants and Falcons and my next priority is upgrading Control tower to get another hanger. I am resting from spaceship flights to acquire more goodies for launches, and trying a few adventures for the first time. Biggest problem this week is lack of spare wire and spare propellors to complete flights for Alliance. All help gratefully accepted
